Tenebris - the first and only dark restaurant in the Balkans
Tenebris is the first and only dark restaurant in the Balkans, which opened its doors in 2018.
Since then, over 10 000 guests have visited the "dinner in the dark" experience!
How does the dinner itself go?
You will be welcomed into a lighted reception area, where we will briefly tell you what to expect. After leaving your outerwear and personal belongings in a safe place, you will meet your blind host, who will lead you into the completely dark dining room. It is precisely in order to preserve this complete darkness for all guests, on which the concept of Tenebris is built, that no phones, luminous watches, lighters and electronic cigarettes are brought in, as well as all other objects that can emit light.
In complete darkness you will “experience” a five-course menu, specially designed with the aim of experiencing food in a new way. After the end of dinner, you will be presented with the entire menu that you have enjoyed, and you will find out which flavors you have managed to decipher.
You can call your host by name at any time, whether you want to order a drink or be taken to the toilet. Dinner usually lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. Bring a dose of courage, an adventurous spirit and an empty stomach and allow us to bring you a different feeling about food and people.
