Kaliakra and the Wild Northern Black Sea Coast
The sea without the resorts
Forget for a moment the rows of hotels and umbrellas.
To the north, the Black Sea coast looks different.
High cliffs fall to the sea, the steppe reaches almost to their edge, and small bays appear between the steep shores.
Cape Kaliakra extends approximately two kilometers into the sea and traces of fortifications have been preserved on it. In the immediate vicinity is the almost semicircular Bolata Bay.
